Graphics Resource List

The graphics programs that I use are:


  • Microsoft Picture It & Digital Image: I don't know how much the program costs to download, it came with the computer when I purchased it.

  • Gimp: GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching,image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.

  • PhotoFiltre: PhotoFiltre is a complete image retouching program. It allows you to do simple or advanced adjustments to an image and apply a vast range of filters on it. It is simple and intuitive to use, and has an easy learning curve. The toolbar, giving you access to the standard filters with just a few clicks, gives PhotoFiltre a robust look. It is also free for download.



The images that I use for my graphics are taken from several places:

[info]galadhir: for images of Damian O'Hare
Getty Images: for royalty-free stock images
Google Images: for searchable images of anything and everything... royalty-free or not...
